Meet the Officers of the Computer Science Club

Nathaniel Paz

President


Nathaniel is a sophomore at SJC majoring in Computer Science with a strong interest in Competitive Programming, Cybersecurity, and Full-Stack web development. He plans to continue his studies with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at UHCL. When he's not working on his academic studies, he enjoys playing video games, working out, and spending quality time with friends and his girlfriend.

Derrick Martinez

Vice President


Derrick is a junior at UHCL and a graduate of San Jacinto College with a degree in Computer Science. He's actively involved in the Pygame community as an event organizer and enjoys working on personal projects, including developing his own game engine. In his free time, he also enjoys making music.

Emmanuel Attagba

Secretary


Originally from South Korea, Emmanuel is an international student in his final year of his associate degree in Computer Science. He plans to continue his studies with a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity. Emmanuel is passionate about learning, enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and values personal growth and kindness.

Daniel De La Rosa

Student Government Association


Daniel is a sophomore at SJC majoring in Computer Science. He has a variety of interests, including playing guitar, spray painting, and coding. As part of the Student Government Association, Daniel is eager to support club members and assist in any way he can while upholding SJC standards.

Natalie Garcia

Treasuer


Natalie is completing her final semester as a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at San Jacinto College. She enjoys spending time with friends through gaming and exploring new places with her dogs. In the future, Natalie hopes to travel throughout Europe and meet her friends from online communities.

Jorge Arrazola

Social Chair


Jorge is Mexican-born and learned English as a second language. He recently moved from Las Vegas and is a sophomore preparing to transfer to UHCL. He enjoys video editing, has experience in game development, and is familiar with basic coding in several programming languages. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and playing video games.

Professor Steven Schneider

Professor Schneider is a Software Engineer with 40+ years in Embedded, and Real-Time systems. He has worked across industries like Aerospace and Medical, developing software in 14 languages. He's contributed to NASA projects like the ISS, and Boeing's Starliner. His current interests are Robotics and Computer Vision.
